New AI Recruitment Feature To Help Our Agencies Better Match CV to Jobs

    • At the start of this year, Ubidy reached an important milestone. After months of work, we successfully launched the AI-powered CV matching feature for employer clients. The feedback was very positive with even AWS highlighting the tool in one of their Customer Success Case Studies.

We had created a tool that transformed the tedious process of matching candidates to job descriptions, making it faster, smarter, and more accurate. The AI tool allows our clients to identify top candidates with precision and speed, replacing manual sifting and guesswork. By analysing not just keywords but the deeper skills and experiences of candidates, the AI took on the heavy lifting.

This initial success paved the way for further innovation. From the beginning, we knew our AI had the potential to serve a broader audience. While we had started by focusing on employers, agencies play a crucial role in our platform’s ecosystem. They are often under tight deadlines and high pressure to deliver the right candidates. We realised that our AI tool could improve how agencies collaborate with employers.

Agency AI Recruitment Skill Matching Tool

Now, we’re excited to announce that we’re extending this powerful AI capability to our agency partners. This year, a select group of agencies will trial the Agency AI CV Skill Matching feature. Unlike a simple repurpose of the employer tool, this feature is specifically designed for agencies, addressing the unique challenges they face in a competitive recruitment market.

This tailored tool allows our agencies to better filter candidates ensuring they are truly submitting only the most relevant candidates—those most likely to meet the employer’s requirements—reducing the chance of sending unsuitable profiles and not placing a role. The time saved from manual filtering can be reinvested into building candidate relationships, expanding talent pools, and growing their business.

The competitive advantage is clear. Agencies using the AI CV matching feature will have faster turnaround times, higher placement success rates, and fewer rejections, leading to a stronger reputation in the marketplace. In addition, the time saved using this tool can be devoted to expanding their candidate pool leading to more chances to place other roles.

      What does it do?

The new AI CV matching tool helps agencies find better candidates by allowing them to test how well a candidates fulfils all the detailed role requirements before submitting the candidate.

Once an agency has been approved to work on a job on the Ubidy platform, they will then have the option of uploading candidate CVs to be compared against the job description requirements to get feedback on the quality of the match between the candidate and the job. This trialling of a candidate can be done before submitting them to help reviewing many candidates in one go.

In this way, agencies will be able to test how many of the job requirements a given candidate matches before they submit the candidate. By integrating this into internal processes and ensuring all candidates fulfil at least a certain percentage of requirements, agencies can ensure the candidates they submit are always of a high quality and by doing so, maintain the reputation of their agency.

      Future Developments

Our product roadmap includes even more AI-powered innovations aimed at transforming how agencies and employers work together. From enhanced candidate profiling leveraging publicly available data captured by large language models to predictive hiring trends, the future of recruitment is being shaped by AI, and we’re proud to be a part of this trend. Our team is constantly working on the latest AI models and upgrading the tools behind the scenes to ensure that both our employers and agencies have the best available technology.

As we roll out this feature to more of our agency partners in the coming months, we look forward to an improved experience for them on our platform. The ability to submit only the best candidates will streamline operations and strengthen relationships between agencies and employers, ensuring the recruitment process is as efficient as possible.
